E-health, Bioinformatics and ICT for health research
The project “La Casa nel Parco” (May 2018) is supported by Regione Piemonte under the technological sector “E-health, Bioinformatics and ICT for health research (including the Big Data analysis)” of the call “Salute e Benessere” and within the application field “homecare”.
The consortium includes: 2 enterprise Consoft Sistemi (coordinator) e Santer Reply, 2 Universities (Università degli studi di Torino, Politecnico di Torino), 2 private research bodies (Collegio Carlo Alberto e Fondazione ISI ), 4 hospital (Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino, Ospedale Maggiore della Carità di Novara, Ospedale San Luigi di Orbassano, Fondazione Don Gnocchi a Torino) and 14 PMI for technological support.
The project proposes solutions for e-health as applications of ICT technologies, in order to improve the state of the art within health-care processes, telemedicine and telemonitoring.
The aim of the project is to support data and health-care services accessibility and interoperability in order to achieve care decentralization, resources rationalization and the improvement of healthcare pathways.
An important motivation to participate in the project is due to the goal of creating a platform that allows the interoperability between the BIM model data of the structures and the information related to patients, doctors, staff and family members to ensure an optimized management of the spaces (and the services they contain), to increase the quality of the service that is perceived and at the same time to reduce the costs of use. This must be done starting from the needs of the patients and the availability of the structures distributed throughout the territory.
